Throughout our website, we utilize data regarding aspects of COVID-19, including cases, deaths, and vaccination rates. While these cases and deaths are just numbers within our data and on our website, it is important to realize that they represent real people. Each COVID-19 case and death signifies a person who has been affected by this devastating pandemic. Our team at End to an Endemic recognizes this, and thus has made it our mission to humanize the impacts of COVID everywhere.
To fulfill our mission, we’ve sent hundreds of emails to local leaders and health officials across the United States, highlighting the importance of vaccines, and more importantly, the need for vaccine education. In an environment rife with misinformation, public perceptions of vaccines - whether it’s the science behind them or their effects - are greatly distorted. Consequently, we have encouraged local leaders to increase education on vaccines, whether it’s through public drives, fundraisers, or school events.
Below are links to resources for preliminary education on vaccines, their long-term impact, and endemics sourced from the CDC and the World Health Organization.
